We are constantly moved by our history and landscape. Andrew has spent 50 years in the field as a specialist watch seller but he is also a lifelong adventurer — ice climbing in Iceland, summiting Kilimanjaro, running marathons across deserts... So we set out to create exactly the watch he always reached for: sturdy, superbly built, utterly reliable in the harshest conditions.
Inspired by our family origins and the town where Andrew grew up, its geography and the surrounding landscape, the Buxton is A watch for the journey and ready for anything. It tells our story, and creates a connection to a particular time and place. But it is also a platform for others to tell their own story. It will be available as a fully customisable collection so we can collaborate with organisations who want to create a high quality timepiece that accurately represents them.
We’re building A company that will go on for another 50 years and more. The Buxton will allow others to create their own legacies.
Our business model is Specialised & responsive, and our watches are purpose made. We want them to be capable of enduring whatever their wearer puts them through. This is why our watches are Made in Switzerland to the most precise standards. The Buxton is a COSC certified chronograph with a Sellita SW300-1 movement which is one the most reliable and robust calibers on the market. Switzerland has long been associated with the highest standards in watch making. Our watches are built in a family run workshop and they take such care over the precision and craftsmanship of their work and it really shows. The quality far surpasses the accessibility of this watch. We want to give our customers a watch which is a companion piece to their lifestyle: whether you’re flying a plane or climbing a mountain: our ambition is that the next chapter of your Adventure happens on our watch.
